In honor of the holiday season, the friends, clients, and Realtors® of Addicted Realty came together to support Veterans Village of Las Vegas. As part of the Addicted Appreciates movement at Addicted Realty, donations were collected during our First Annual Thirsty Thursday: Holiday Edition party to help brighten the holiday season for those who have served.  Our heartfelt thanks to those who were able to support such a special program.   Most noteworthy, a donation of $20 provides housing to a Veteran for a day. Addicted Realty supports Veterans Village

What is Veterans Village?

Veterans Village is dedicated to the creation of an environment that is home to United States Veterans. In addition, they provide a unique, innovative, comprehensive and holistic approach to transitional and permanent housing and have established collaborative partnerships with both the public and private sector to enrich the lives of the residents. With multiple locations in Las Vegas, this organization connects service providers and Veterans by removing barriers to create accessibility. Crisis intervention support services are available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year. Veterans have access to medical and mental health services on-site.  In addition to housing and intervention services, Veterans Villages operates a food pantry in conjunction with Three Square Food Bank, employment training, and transportation to both the VA hospital and primary care clinics. The original location provides housing for 122 individual Veterans. The second location provides permanent housing to 204 United States Veterans. Both locations provide a safe and supportive environment. Furthermore, the organization is currently developing an in-paitient care facility and a dedicated facility for female Veterans.  Veterans Village is managed and operated by SHARE, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1994 by Arnold Stalk, PhD and Karin Rogers.
